Background: Shiin is the child of two mage's, growing up around mages he was originally a sleepwalker and later awakened. His parents, both of the Free Council, were surprised when decided to join the Guardians of the Veil. Excelling at school he is now in his late 20's, has a Doctorates in Advanced Physics and Pyschology, and a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts. He was made a Councilor of Japan after his fiance and over half the Consilium were killed in a surprise attack. Those who laucnhed the attack have been dealt with and he is now dedicated more than ever to the protection of Consilium, family, friends, and Veil.

Character Description

Shiin is around 5'10" blonde hair, gray eyes, wears glasses. He is usually in casual dress, or business casual (think most university teachers). While he doesn't seem to stand out much in the crowd his students seem to love his class and those who spend time around him tend to leave feeling better than they came in.

Nimbus

As a Mastigos, Shiin's Nimbus manifests a mask, a sort of costume that flows over his body. This, mask, seems to be a double-image, fuzzy but overlayed over his body. It has a demonic look to it and his eyes seem to glow with a purplish black fire. The faint sounds of screaming and torture rise up around him, but a secondary light rises from him as well, an almost calm and angelic presence. It is said that these effects magnify as he uses more and more noticible spells. The demonic image grows clearer and almost physical during battle and intense anger, the calming presence growing stronger during healing and times of protection. Those who have witnessed his transportation or gone through it themselves remember seeing a strange purplish-black fire stream infront of him, seemoing to burn a hole from one point in reality to another. It unkown on how far his nimbus will go or change as he believes most vulgar magic is unnessecary tends to refrain from using any unnessacary magic.

Allies

Shiin is known to be in freindly contact with the other Councilor's of the Japan Consilium.

Shiin's closest confident in the city was, without question, Morraine, the Councilor of NJC previous to her death. She was also his fiance.

Shiin was often seen talking to Ender, a Free Councilor and former Councilor on the NJC.

Shiin seems to have a close relationship to the previous Hierarch, Justice of the Peace.

Shiin had been at one time friends and Cabal mates with a Moros Silver Ladder named Clothos, though when she left for Hawaii it is unkown if they have kept in contact.

Adversaries

Shiin has no current adverseries, but reserves an ammount of distrust to Silver ladder mages, mostly because all of the attacks and destruction that occurred in his Consilium was caused by Silver Ladder mages who wanted more power. He does however trust some few who have earned his trust.

Timeline

? - 1997 Unknown

1997-2004 Much is unkown of his years in college, it is known he was an active Guardian member and that he completed his degrees in this time, unknown is the specifics of the role he played in any events during this time.

2004 - Upon completing his Doctorate in Advanced Physics he lands a job in Hachinohe University as a Professor, they also alot him funds for continuing his research.

2005 - Draconis fights against a Shadow Spirit that is assumed to be a familiar to a long-dead Silver Ladder mage who wished to create a Dictatorship over Japan. Shadow Spirit was defeated but not without losing 10 mages from the Consilium.

2006 - Draconis loses Fiance, friends, family, and all of Consiliums Councilor's to attack from a rogue group of Silver Ladder mages. He is then appointed Guardian of the Veil councilor for Misawa. New Hiearch works and expands consilium from Hokkaido to Okinawa making it control all of Japan, Draconis keeps his Councilor Position as GoTV Councilor of Japan. Consilium once a large group of mages passing 200 mages in japan has been destroyed and brought down to nearly 30-40 total. Draconis helps to find those responsible and stops the killing.

2007 - Draconis with consilium fight a Spirit of Fear that has been destroying or taking over mages, it seemed to have devoloped a taste for a mage's fear and could only survive off of it.

2007 (later) - Draconis changes his name to Shiin after soul-searching and finding that he must change his morals in order to protect the awakened world and those he loves..
